Plan B might be a good idea to take, although if you already are pregnant, it wont do anything.

I hate to sound cruel, but if you are so worried about becoming pregnant, why aren’t you more careful when taking your pills? But to answer your question, yes you should be ok. I could be wrong. You should see your doctor.

Missing twice isn’t good. Would help to go to the hospital to ask the nurse. 8 mths doesn’t make a difference especially when you missed.

I really think you should be fine. Just remember that you should take the pill everyday at the same time and that will help. But you should be fine. I would be worried if you missed a lot this last week.

Why did you have unprotected sex if you knew you had missed your pill? There is a possibility, though very small, that you could be pregnant. Usually, if you have been on the pill for a while it can take a while to get out of your system and in theory missing one should not matter. However, if you do miss a pill they recommend(and i think this will be on the instuctions) using alternative protection for a month after a missed pill. I do not know what plan B there could be this long after having had sex and missing the pill however you should go and speak to your doctor and find out your options and where to go from here.
No one form of contraception is 100% effective. And despite what I have mentioned above I fell pregnant on the mini pill twice, once while still breastfeeding!
