We had veggies, crackers, cheese, and dips for the cocktail hour (with drinks of course), and then for dinner we had raspberry champagne soup, salad, a choice of stuffed herb chicken with green beans or prime rib with broccoli, both with red potatoes. For dessert we obviously had wedding cake, but also ice cream in a chocolate shell. We also had champagne and strawberries for everyone.

It was a sit down meal.

We had 55 guests, the cocktail hour was at 6 and the reception was at 7pm.

We’re probably going to be serving a traditional Christmas dinner. (Buffet style)
We’ll probably have it around 5pm.
    We’ll have about 100 guests.

We served them their choice of spaghetti or fettuccine alfredo with tossed salad, caesar salad, or spinach salad and chopped fruit (pineapple, cantalpoue, apples, strawberries) with a fruit dip and garlic breadsticks or dinner rolls. For dessert we had wedding cake, chocolate covered strawberries and kolaches (true kolaches, not pigs-n-blanket). For snacks later on during the dance, we served homemade summer sausage, cheese and crackers, and still left available on the table the kolaches and fruit/dip. It was buffet style. We had tea, sweet tea, and water, as well as several beer kegs.

We served about 200 guests at 5:30 pm. We did everything ourselves. My mom made the spaghetti and salads; I made the alfredo and cut the fruit. My grandma and I made the kolaches. We had friends that helped serve the food at the reception.
