Searching for wedding dress online, what are good sites?

April 21st, 2010

Im looking for a good website that has traditional, long, white dresses with a lot of beading and details. Summer wedding, probably outside. Ive googled “wedding dresses” and “wedding gowns” but didnt come up with anything that caught my eye. I am not looking for “designer” dresses that cost thousands. Anyone have a good site to check out?

I am wearing one of her gowns on my big day!

  2. Mrs Noel ♥6/19/2010♥ says: seems like a pretty good one to me. I almost ordered from there but chickened out at the last minute. (just couldn’t see myself buying something without trying it on.) they have a GREAT return/exchange policy (you give them the date of your wedding, and if it becomes too big or small before then, they’ll exchange it…no questions asked, or if it’s not what you thought, they’ll exchange it…no questions asked…you just have to pay the return shipping. The only thing that you have to do is NOT alter it…no bustles added or anything.) It’s the website the dresses in the “Bridezillas” ads come from.

I know it seems quite tacky but sometimes ebay have stores on there who make wedding and prom dresses.. Brand new.. With tags and stuff. If you dont find anything on there.. why not look for white prom dresses when i had my prom i was looking for a prom dress and a lot of wedding styled dresses came up. Hope i helped. 🙂 x

I bought my dress from and it’s amazing! Really good quality and it fits perfectly – you give them your measurements and they make it to fit you. You have the choice of all the tradional styles and some less traditional at wholesale prices. Mine cost a fraction of the ones I was looking at in the bridalwear shops. They delivered within 3 weeks too. I’d reccommend them.

AMAZING wedding dress maker on ebay: zerolove
I got my wedding dress from them, total (including shipping and they made it to MY measurements) was $160!
What I did was go to a wedding dress store and try on some dresses. Then I found the ones I thought looked good on me (neckline, sleeve or none, dropped waist, color, etc), then went on the website and found one similar to it. They have a few different shades (varying from white to ivory, to darker, etc), and they were AMAZING to work with. Great quality, they were just so wonderful, I would reccomend them to anyone. One bit of advice though, specify how long you want your train, if any, because I didnt mention how long I wanted mine and they gave me the ‘shortest’ option (which may have just been standard with the dress I ordered). Enjoy!
