Planning a ceremony on a cruise ships private island(long sorry)?

April 11th, 2010

After Princess and The Wedding Experience canceled our wedding I am in a bind. We wanted to get married on board the inaugural Ruby Princess sailing and have over 30 cabins booked for this but Princess does not want to do the wedding on that cruise. I do not want to move my guests to another ship or date because military and other commitments will prove difficult for many of my guests. So looking for opinions on my idea….
We have the minister and photographer coming with us. I was thinking of renting bungalows on Princess Cays and performing the ceremony there on the island. (filing a license can be done before hand)
I want nothing too formal so this should not be a problem if we skip the island to do it in another port. I was thinking an ipod for ceremony music unless we can pay a musician on board for 30 minutes of entertainment.
Am I crazy?

Not crazy at all, thats exactly what i would have tried to do myself if this happened to one of my brides.

I know everything will work out for you and you will have a wonderful wedding because you are determined and are not letting this setback get in the way.
